As winter approaches, residents are encouraged to stay informed about the pathways that Rocky Ridge Ranch HOA is responsible for maintaining during snow-clearing operations.

​Your Role in Snow Clearing

Residents and businesses also play a vital part in maintaining community safety during winter:

• Sidewalks and Walkways: City by-law requires that all sidewalks adjacent to your property be cleared within 24 hours after the snow stops falling.​​Report Concerns: If you notice uncleared City pathways, report them using the 311 app or by calling 311 directly.

All City-owned pathways and sidewalks are maintained by The City of Calgary’s pathway crews. This includes:

• Designated pedestrian pathways in parks and around City-owned properties
• ​Key walking routes in downtown and popular pedestrian areas
• Pathways that connect neighborhoods, shopping centers, and transit locations

Pathway crews aim to clear snow within 24 hours after a snowfall ends, ensuring safe and accessible routes for pedestrians, runners, and cyclists.
