CHILDREN’S CLASSES

*NEW* Music for Little Movers and Shakers

Get ready for some singing, moving, and shaking! Through this active music/movement class children will develop musical skills and a foundation for the enjoyment of music. Children (and their grown-ups!) will sing, move, play simple percussion, hear instruments, develop musical literacy, and read musical stories. Instructor has is an elementary music teacher with Orff Canada Level III certification.

*NEW TIME* Yoga for Mom & Baby

This introduction to yoga for Preschool and kindergarten aged children will expose your little one(s) to the art and joy that many adults enjoy. The physical movements combined with the cognitive process of learning new words – a kinesthetic process which aids learning can help young children build vocabulary. In addition, breath work can help them build their balance, improve coordination and develop their ability to consciously relax.

Rocky Ridge Rockers: Join the rockers every Tuesday at the Ranch from 1-3pm for coffee and crafting (bring a project to work on). Free and open to everyone.

Sportball: Coaches focus on the basic skills common to all sports, like balance, coordination, stamina and timing in a fun, supportive, non-competitive setting that emphasizes teamwork.
