Feedback on New Transit Station: The city of Calgary would love your feedback on the New Station. If you would like to send them your comments on things ie: parking, name, design, etc. You can get info, pictures and fill out their online form at www.calgary.ca/ti then click on the 'Northwest LRT Extension RRRO/Tuscany Station' link on the right and fill out the 'online feedback form'. Construction Next Door We have been advised that the building next to us is The Rocky Ridge Retirement Facility. There are plans for a show suite to be up by June 2010 and the facility is scheduled to open Jun. 2011. It will be a rental with 3 meals daily, a swimming pool, spa, & fitness room. The Transportation Contract for the 2010 – 2011 school year will not be available until the end of May. We therefore encourage everyone to submit their contract as early as possible in June. Kindergarten registration began in early January and is ongoing. Those Kindergarten to grade 3 students that are currently residing in the communities of Royal Oak/Rocky Ridge and attend the designated school (Belvedere Parkway) will be automatically registered at Royal Oak School for September 2010. Registration for all other students will begin on March 1st. Registrations can be completed at Tuscany School 9:00 – 3:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. Please be prepared to present your child’s birth certificate (or acceptable proof of age/legal name) and proof of address documentation (e.g. a utility bill). Additional information about school registration is available on the CBE website under the “Parents” tab. Pet Owners at Rocky Ridge Ranch The Rocky Ridge Homeowners' Association has received several complaints regarding pets defecating on sidewalks and pathways. According to City of Calgary Bylaw 22 "If an animal defecates on any public or private property other than the property of its owner, the owner shall remove such feces immediately." The fine for not picking up after your pet is $250.00. If you see a pet owner contravening this Bylaw then call 311 with the location, description of the pet and owner. This information is kept confidential. We are asking for pet owners' cooperation in keeping Rock Ridge Ranch a clean and safe community to enjoy. Off-Leash Areas:
